NEW ORLEANS – McNeese Cowgirls beach volleyball (8–1) is off to the best start in program history after beginning day one at the Big Easy Beach Invitational with a 3-2 victory over the College of Charleston marking the first win against them in program history.
In the match against College of Charleston (2–6),
Kendall Osgood and
McKenzie Moore clinched the decisive point to secure the 3–2 victory.
The rest of the weekend's schedule has been shifted due to the potential for inclement weather as the match against Southeastern that was slated for this afternoon has been shifted to 9:00 a.m. Saturday, and the Sandy Pokes will only play one match against host New Orleans at 3:00 p.m. to wrap up the weekend.
