LAKE CHARLES – The McNeese beach volleyball team continued its historic season Tuesday, posting a 2–0 record at the McNeese Beach Classic to improve to 20–5 overall and 4–2 in Southland Conference play.

McNeese opened the day with a 5–0 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor, marking its second win over the Cru this season. The duo of McKenzie Moore and Kendall Osgood secured the clinching point for the Cowgirls.

The Cowgirls carried that momentum into the second match, earning a 5–0 sweep over East Texas Baptist. The victory marked the program's first win over East Texas Baptist, with all five pairs winning in straight sets.

McNeese returns to action Wednesday, April 15, traveling to Nicholls for a 2 p.m. match.
