LAKE CHARLES--  McNeese women's basketball returns home Wednesday night to host Wiley College in a 7 p.m. non-conference game. Fans are asked to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots in exchange for one free general admission ticket for up to a group of four to the doubleheader. A donation of $5 to Toys for Tots will also receive a game ticket.
 
McNeese (3-2) is coming off a 93-27 road loss to then no. 6 Texas A&M last Wednesday in College Station. McNeese will look to improve on its 3-1 home record where the Cowgirls came from behind to defeat Southern Miss 57-55 in its last home outing on Nov. 23.
 
Junior Allison Baggett continues to lead the Cowgirls in scoring and is the only one averaging in double figures with 13.2 ppg. Jayln Johnson is averaging 7.2 ppg. and has a team best 87.0 free throw shooting percent. Senior Talisa Boyd leads the team with 6.2 rebounds per game and a 66.7 field goal shooting percent.
 
Wiley is undefeated on the season at 4-0 and are coming off a 65-48 win at Sam Houston State on Nov. 21.  The Wildcats, who have also picked up two wins against Dillard and one against Texas Wesleyan, are averaging 73.0 ppg. and have four players averaging in double figures.  Tyeka Ranton leads the team with 17.0 ppg. Jimelliah Price is averaging 15.3 ppg. and leads the Wildcats with 8.7 rpg. Kayla Brown is averaging 12.8 ppg. and Ri'Kell McWright is averaging 10.0 ppg.  
 
McNeese will take time off for finals following Wednesday's game and will return to the court on Dec. 10 to host Centenary.
