LAKE CHARLES – A busy day is in store for the McNeese women's tennis squad on Monday as the Cowgirls celebrate Senior Day before facing off against Central Arkansas in the final home match of the season at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.
First serve is slated for noon with free pizza available to those who attend Monday's match while supplies last.

Vivien Borbely, a member of the Cowgirl tennis squad since 2014. A native of Tiszavasvari, Hungary, Borbely has been honored for her work in the classroom as well as on the courts. She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll as well as the ITA All-Academic Team in 2014. She has won 25 singles matches during her career along with 30 doubles victories.
The Cowgirls (9-9, 4-3 SLC) look to close out their home portion of the 2017 slate with a victory following a split last weekend with a win over Incarnate Word after dropping a match to A&M-Corpus Christi.
Hannah Brett leads the Cowgirls with a 5-2 league mark while she has won two singles matches in a row. In doubles, the team of
Vivien Borbely and
Charoline Erlandsson are 6-1 on the year in conference action and have won eight of their last 10 matches.
McNeese is tied for seventh place in the Southland standings with four matches to go in the conference season.
Central Arkansas (14-5, 3-2 SLC) has won three of its last five league contests including a 5-2 win over Nicholls last weekend. The Bears hold a 6-2 record on the road and have yet to lose a Southland match away from its home court.
UCA has four singles players with 10 or more victories this season while Rada Manataweewat leads all players with a 4-1 league mark. The Bears hold a 62-40 combined record in singles play and a 30-21 mark in doubles.
