Ahmed Eliminated in Day Three Action of ITA Regional Championships

BATON ROUGE- Cowgirl tennis sophomore Dalia Ahmed fought hard but couldn't advance to the third round of the singles bracket ending the Cowgirls time at the ITA South Regional Championships Friday in Baton Rouge.
 
Ahmed was the Cowgirls lone participate in the third day of competition and was defeated by Tulane's Lahari Yelamanchili, in straight sets 7-5, 6-1 after she defeated the No. 1 overall seed Eden Richardson from LSU yesterday.
 
The Cowgirls will be on the courts again when they travel to Hammond for the SLU Invitational on October 25.
