LAKE CHARLES—McNeese softball, coming off a solid 3-1 win over then No. 22 Texas A&M at the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational, will return home Wednesday to begin a five-game home stand in a 6 p.m. game against Houston at Joe Miller Field.
McNeese (6-5) also picked up wins over Rutgers and Liberty to end tournament action with a 3-2 record.
Sophomore
Demi Boudreaux led McNeese at the plate at the Aggie Invitational, ending the weekend with a .389 batting average, seven hits including four doubles and a triple while junior
Alexsandra Flores posted a 2-0 record and a 2.29 ERA. Flores' picked up the win against Liberty and the win over Texas A&M in relief of rookie
Saleen Flores who made her first career start.
Boudreaux is currently batting .351 with a team high six doubles and is second on the team with 13 hits and six RBI.
Senior
Justyce McClain continued her hot hitting with six hits including a triple and scored four runs. McClain leads the team with a .400 batting average, 14 hits, 11 runs, five walks, and four stolen bases heading into Wednesday's game.
Junior
Cori McCrary hit her first D1 home runs with one each coming against Rutgers and Texas A&M. McCrary is batting .226 with a team high eight RBI.

Caroline Settle posted a 1-1 record with a 0.70 ERA in 10 innings at the Aggie Classic while junior
Alexsandra Flores went 2-0 with a 2.29 ERA in 18.1 innings. Both
Saleen Flores and
Amber Coons pitched four innings apiece and didn't allow an earned run.

Alexsandra Flores is 4-1 on the year with a 2.62 ERA and lead the team with 16 strikeouts and 34.2 innings pitched.
Coons is 1-0 with a 0.64 ERA,
Saleen Flores is 0-1 with a 1.11 ERA and Settle is 1-3 with a 3.50 ERA.
Houston (5-5) is coming off a 3-2 record at its own Houston Classic last weekend with wins over Nevada, Maryland and UL-Monroe.
Charese Wyatt leads the Cougars with a .556 batting average and seven RBI. In the circle, Houston is led by Presley Bell (2-0, 0.00 ERA) and Savannah Heebner (1-3, 1.93 ERA)
