LAKE CHARLES – The McNeese Cowboys baseball team will be at home Tuesday in Lake Charles against the Houston Cougars at Joe Miller Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. and Cowboy fans can follow the game's live stats or listen to the game on KEZM 1310 AM or online at KEZMonline.com.

McNeese played Houston earlier this year on Feb. 20 and defeated the Cougars in Houston 13-5 in a five-hour, 14 inning game after the two teams had to switch home and home games due to inclement weather.

In the first meeting, Nate Fisbeck was unbelievable from the plate with a five-hit performance. He would finish 5-for-7 with three runs, and two RBI's.

As a team the Cowboys would have five players with multiple hits in the game and tallied 15 hits total.

Brett Payne is expected to get the start on the mound for the Cowboys as they get ready for their Southland Conference opponent Incarnate Word this weekend.

• The Cougars enter Tuesday's game with a 10-8 record. Most recently, Houston defeated Dallas Baptist in a three-game weekend series on the road, 8-6, 2-0 and 4-8.

• This will be their last game in a four-game road stretch before returning to Houston for a four-game home stand.
