LAKE CHARLES- McNeese Baseball's
Clayton Rasbeary was named a top 100 outfielder in the country in D1 Baseball's 2020 Preseason Power Rankings on Wednesday.
Arlansas' Heston Kjerstad was ranked as the best outfielder followed by UCLA's Garrett Mitchell, Tennessee's Al Soularie, and Hudson Haskin of Tulane round out the top 4.
Rasbeary comes in at No. 92 on the list of top 100 outfielders, an honor that comes after being named a first team Preseason All-Southland Conference Team member.
Rasbeary and the rest of the baseball team look to continue their success from last year's squad into the 2020 campaign with the season opener this Friday against Mississippi Valley State at 6 p.m. in Joe Miller Ballpark.
