LAKE CHARLES— The McNeese Baseball team is back in action on Tuesday night when they play host to longtime rival UL-Lafayette in a mid-week matchup, first pitch is set for 6 p.m.
 
The Cowboys (10-6) enter the game winning three of their last five games and will look to use this game as final preparation before they start conference play this weekend.
 
ULL (7-9) enters the game winning four of their last five and five of their last 10 with wins against Troy, Michigan State, Rice, and Sam Houston State.

SERIES NOTES VS. UL-LAFAYETTE
This will be the 179^th meeting between the Cowboys and the Ragin Cajuns with McNeese trailing UL-Lafayette all-time 100-77-1.
 
Head Coach Matt Deggs is in his first season as the Cajuns skipper after replacing former McNeese head coach and longtime Cajuns head coach Tony Robichaux, who passed away last year.
 
This will be the first game between the two schools where Robichaux won't be a part of the game, whether as a player or coach, in 40 years.

Head Coach Justin Hill and the McNeese baseball team announced today that the McNeese bullpen will now be named The Tony Robichaux Bullpen in honor of the former McNeese and ULL skipper.
