BATON ROUGE—Freshman outside hitter Aryn Johnson, who helped McNeese to a record setting season, has been named to the 2021 Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) All-Louisiana Volleyball team, the organization announced today.
 
The native of Rosharon, Texas was named to the second team after leading the Cowgirls and ranking third in the Southland Conference with 331 kills (3.18 kps), and 33 service aces. Johnson was also second on the team with 204 digs (1.96 dps) and was credited with a career high 18 kills against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
 
The honor for Johnson is her third of the season after being named to the All-Southland second team and the SLC All-Tournament Team.
