LAFAYETTE – McNeese will play in its final tennis match before starting Southland Conference play when it visits Louisiana-Lafayette at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The Cowgirls (0-6) are still searching for their first win of the season but have shown tremendous improvements over the past few matches.
"Our goal is to continue building on the progress we have made since getting back to campus," said head coach
Giorgia Pozzan. "Winning the doubles point will be key. We have improved a lot already, we just need to make sure we stay consistent and disciplined."
ULL won the last matchup a year ago. That snapped a six-match winning streak by the Cowgirls.
McNeese will return home on Friday against Abilene Christian to open up Southland Conference play.
