LAKE CHARLES –  McNeese softball will continue its week in San Antonio, Texas following its 6-3 win non-conference win over UTSA Wednesday night when the Cowgirls take on Incarnate Word (14-20, 7-11 SLC) for a three-game Southland Conference series.

"Typically, UIW normally plays fast, and they are going to put a lot of pressure on you," said head coach
James Landreneau. "They will put people in motion throughout the game, so for us is we have to stay on it and can't fall asleep. We have to play clean ball and if we don't, they will take advantage of it."
