LAKE CHARLES—McNeese head softball coach James Landreneau has announced the signing of nine student-athletes to a National Letter of Intent to join the Cowgirls' championship squad for the 2024 season.

"Our coaching staff and I are extremely excited about our 2023 signing class," said head coach James Landreneau. "We feel fortunate to be able to find such great athletes that fit the needs of our program both as athletes and people. This class is highly decorated in both the scholastic and travel ball side.  This class is filled with athletic and versatile players that have been challenged at the highest levels while playing for some of the top travel ball programs in the country and high school programs in their respective states. This has been a fun class to recruit, and we believe they will be a vital part of our program's growth.
