McNeese women's basketball (3-7) will travel to Lubbock, Texas on Monday, Dec. 19 to face Texas Tech (9-1) in the Cowgirls' final game before the Christmas break.

Following Monday's game, the Cowgirls will return to action on Dec. 31 to open Southland Conference action at Lamar in a 1 p.m. game. McNeese will host Northwestern State on Jan. 5 in its SLC home opener.

 • It will be the fourth all-time meeting between the two teams.
• McNeese will be the third team from the Southland Conference the Red Raiders will face this season.
• Texas Tech defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 69-49 on Nov. 7 in its season opener. They also defeated Incarnate Word 66-48 on Dec. 4.
• Texas Tech holds a 2-1 overall record.
• The last time these two teams met was during the 1997-98 season with Texas Tech winning 93-44 on Dec. 6, 1997 in Lubbock.
• McNeese's win was a 76-60 win in Lake Charles on Jan. 3, 1981.
• The Cowgirls are coming off a 79-60 road loss at Ole Miss on Saturday.
• Suzanna Kulinska led McNeese in scoring with a season high 16 points in the loss to Ole Miss.
• Kulinska has scored in double figures in the last three games

Stephanie Guihon chipped in with 10 points against Ole miss, it was her second game scoring in double figures.

Paris Mullins and
Kaili Chamberlin are the only two Cowgirls averaging in double figures. Mullins leads the way with 12.3 ppg., while Chamberlin is averaging 10.0 ppg.

Divine Tanks continues to lead McNeese with 6.0 rpg.
• Texas Tech returns to the court in five days since its last win over Oral Roberts on Dec. 14.
• Texas Tech has three players averaging in double figures (Rhylie McKinney-13.7 ppg., Bailey Maupin-12.9 ppg., Bre'Amber Scott- 12.8 ppg.). Scott also leads the team with 5.9 rpg.
