LAKE CHARLES – McNeese women's basketball, who picked up their first road win of the season with a 77-68 win at Nicholls Thursday, will host the Colonels again Saturday in its Alumni game. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. Alumni in attendance will be recognized at halftime. The game will broadcast on ESPN+.
McNeese (6-11, 3-3 SLC) has won its last two games and will look for its second straight win over the Colonels in as many games.
The Cowgirls enter continue to lead the league with a 46.5 field goal percent, rank second in scoring (68.3 ppg.), and are tied for second with 37.0 rpg. in conference games.
Paris Mullins continues to come off the bench to lead the Cowgirls in scoring (10.2 ppg.) while
Divine Tanks continues to lead the team with 5.4 rpg.
In conference games, Tanks leads the league with a 66.7 field goal percent.
Desirae Hansen leads the league with 2.5 three-pointers made per game and is second with 4.0 assists per game.
Nicholls (4-13, 1-5 SLC) has lost nine of its last 10 game following Thursday's loss.
The Colonels have three players averaging in double figures with Lexi Alexander averaging 13.9 ppg. overall and 18.0 ppg. in conference games which leads the league. Alexander scored 19 points Thursday night against the Cowgirls. Alexander also leads the Colonels with 8.5 rpg.
Also averaging in double figures is Deonna Brister (12.6 ppg.), and
Kyla Hamilton (10.4 ppg.). Brister scored a game high 22 Thursday night while Hamilton scored 10. Traya Bruce scored 12 points Thursday that included two three-pointers.

- McNeese defeated Nicholls 77-68 in Thibodaux Thursday night in the first meeting of the season.

Divine Tanks led McNeese with 13 points apiece Thursday night. Watts came off the bench to score her points and was 6 of 11 from the field. Tanks was 6 of 7 from the field.

- Mullins is coming off the bench to lead McNeese in scoring (10.2 ppg.) and is the only Cowgirl averaging in double figures.
- Tanks continues to lead the team with 5.4 rpg. Tanks has also scored in double figures in three of the last four games and is averaging 7.6 ppg.

Zuzanna Kulinska has scored in double figures in seven of the last 10 games. Kulinska enters the game averaging 8.5 ppg. overall and 9.5 ppg. in league play.

Cristina Gil continues to make her way back from an injury she suffered in the first game of the season. Gil played in just over 16 minutes against Nicholls Thursday and scored seven points with two assists.
