LAKE CHARLES-- McNeese Softball, coming off a 2-2 showing at its Cowgirl Classic II will remain home to host Grambling on Wednesday in a midweek game. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
McNeese (10-5) leads the all-time series 1-0 against Grambling (9-6) with the only game played in Lake Charles in 2011 where the Cowgirls picked up a 17-0 (5 inning) win over the Tigers. Grambling is coming off a 2-1 loss at Northwestern State last Wednesday.

Reese Reyna all enter the game batting over .300 with Gomez leading the way with a .386 average. Gomez also leads the team with 17 hits and is tied for a team high with
Crislyne Moreno with three doubles.
In the circle for the Cowgirls, this week's Southland Conference "Pitcher of the Week",
Whitney Tate is undefeated on the season at 4-0 and has a staff low 1.86 ERA. Tate also leads the team with 41.1 innings, 26 strikeouts and only two walks on the season.
