LAKE CHARLES-- McNeese softball returns to action on Wednesday with a 6 p.m. midweek game at Louisiana-Lafayette.
McNeese (13-7) is coming off a 2-2 record at the Longhorn Invitational where they picked up wins against Princeton and Tennessee State along with losses to UL-Lafayette and #9/11 Texas.
UL-Lafayette (13-8) dropped out of the USA Today/NFCA Poll this week and is coming off an 8-3 loss at Texas last weekend.
