LAKE CHARLES—McNeese softball will travel to UL-Monroe this weekend for a three-game series beginning Friday night with a single game at 6 p.m.  The series will conclude with a doubleheader at Noon Saturday.
 
McNeese (13-8) is coming off a 6-2 road loss at UL-Lafayette on Wednesday while ULM (15-8) has won seven of its last eight games enters the weekend following a 3-1 extra inning win over Louisiana Tech on Tuesday.
 
Chloe Gomez continues to lead the Cowgirls the plate with a .339 average, 20 hits, and five doubles. Alayis Seneca is batting .308 with 16 hits while Mariana Torres leads the team with 11 RBI.
 
In the circle, Whitney Tate is 5-1 with a 1.88 ERA and 36 strikeouts.  Lindsay Davis is 2-1 on the year with a 3.23 ERA and Ashley Vallejo is 4-6 with a 3.31 ERA and 33 strikeouts.
 
Lourdes Bacon leads the Warhawks with a .359 average, 28 hits while Ashlan Ard has a team high 16 RBI.  Gianna Hulett leads the pitching staff with a 6-1 record, 2.17 ERA along with 27 strikeouts.  Adrianna Chavarria is 4-1 on the year with a 2.37 ERA and a team high 28 strikeouts.
