LAKE CHARLES- Fresh off its home Southland Conference series win over Northwestern State over the weekend, McNeese softball will travel to Houston Tuesday, April 11 for a single game at the University of Houston beginning at 6 p.m.

McNeese (28-12) will look for its second win of the against the Cougars after a 9-1 (5 inn.) win in Lake Charles on March 15. The Cowgirls have won 14 of their last 17 games.

Alayis Seneca continues to lead McNeese with a .343 batting average, 36 hits, 13 walks, and is tied for a team high 21 runs scored. In the circle,

Houston (18-18) winners of six of their last eight games are coming off an American series home win over East Carolina last weekend. Turiya Coleman leads the Cougars at the plate with a .442 average, 50 hits, and eight home runs. Kenna Wilkey is 13-7 on the year with a 2.45 ERA.
