LAKE CHARLES- McNeese softball returns home this week for four games beginning with Tuesday game against UL-Lafayette. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond.Â

McNeese (26-10) will carry a seven-game winning streak following its Southland Conference Series sweep at Lamar over the weekend. The Cajuns (26-10) enter the game on a three-game winning streak following its series sweep at James Madison last weekend.

The game mark the third of the season between the two teams with the Cajuns winning the two previous games by the scores of 7-1 at the Longhorn Invitational on March 3 and a 6-2 loss in Lafayette on March 8.

Alayis Seneca leads the team with a .383 average with 36 hits and has scored 20 runs. In the circle,
Whitney Tate is 12-2 on the season with a 1.42 ERA in 93.1 innings with 55 strikeouts.
