LAKE CHARLES—Former Cowgirl basketball standout Divine Tanks has signed a one-year professional contract with Eintracht Braunschweig based out of Braunschweig, Germany.  Tank is the first signee of the season for coach Christian Steinwerth.

"I want to thank God for this amazing opportunity," said Tanks.  "I want to thank my family and friends for pushing me through the good and tough times.  I also want to thank my McNeese family as well because they have always been super supportive.  I'm super excited to finally get out here to meet my teammates and coaches. I am ready to put in the work and start winning games."

 While with the Cowgirls, Tank led McNeese in scoring (9.2 ppg.) and rebounds (6.8 rpg.) as a senior and 6.4 rpg. for her career. 
 
The 2021 All-Southland selection concluded her career ranked fourth in career rebounds with 819.  Tanks also ranked third in the record books with 550 defensive rebounds.
