LAKE CHARLES—McNeese softball will begin its fall playing schedule at home this Friday, Oct. 11 in a doubleheader against Jones College beginning at 4 p.m.  The fall schedule also includes home scrimmages against Lamar (Oct. 18), LSU-Alexandria (Oct. 23), Baton Rouge Community College (Oct. 26), LSU-Eunice (Oct. 30), and UL-Lafayette (Nov. 1).  The Cowgirls will travel to UL-Lafayette on Nov. 6 before capping off the fall with their annual Blue/Gold Series scheduled for Nov. 7-9.
 
The Cowgirls return 13 players from the 2024 squad including three redshirt freshmen along with 12 newcomers.
