LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's beach volleyball, in its second year of existence, will take part in four fall scrimmages beginning with this weekend's Pairs Tournament held at Coconut Beach in Kenner, La.
 
The remainder of the fall schedule has the Cowgirls hosting three scrimmages, the first being the McNeese Fall Challenge on Saturday, Oct. 26.  The Cowgirls will also conduct a Blue/Gold Scrimmage (Nov. 9) before concluding their fall playing schedule in its "Friday Night Lights Scrimmage" on Nov. 15.
 
Head coach Yasmin Tan returns for her second season as head coach along with seven returnees including one redshirt, four transfers and one true freshman.
