LAKE CHARLES, La. – McNeese Baseball (13-12, 1-2 SLC) will conclude its nine-game homestand with a two-game midweek series against Alcorn (2-18, 2-7 SWAC) April 2-3 at Joe Miller Ballpark.

Tuesday's matchup is scheduled for 6 p.m. while Wednesday is slated at 2 p.m. Both games will have live stats available to follow along.
Both teams have faced off five times before with the Cowboys coming out on top each time, the last being a 23-1 win in 2022. Poke Nation has averaged 15 runs a game against the Braves with 75 in total.
McNeese is coming off a conference opening weekend in which they faced Northwestern State, winning the series opener 8-2. The Demons ultimately claimed the series in the final two games.
Alcorn recently played Arkansas-Pine Bluff in a three game series in which the team picked up its second win of the season.
Following the two games, the Cowboys return to conference play against Lamar on the road.
