LAKE CHARLES – McNeese softball, winners of its last eight games, will travel to Tallahassee, Florida for midweek games on Tuesday and Wednesday against No. 18 Florida State. Both games will be televised on the ACC Network. Tiffany Greene (Play by Play) and Carol Bruggerman (Color) will call all the action in both games.
The contest will be the second and third meeting between the two teams. McNeese defeated the Seminoles 6-1 on Feb. 20, 2018. The Seminoles went on to win their first NCAA National Championship that year.
McNeese heads into the games with a 23-13 overall record after picking up a 3-2 road win at South Alabama last Tuesday and a SLC series sweep at Northwestern State on Thursday and Friday.Â

Florida State (24-9) also enters the week on a winning streak, six games and are coming off a home ACC series sweep over NC State.
