LAKE CHARLES—McNeese second year head beach volleyball coach Yasmin Tan has announced the Cowgirls 2025 playing schedule which is slate to begin Feb. 22-23.
 
McNeese will compete in seven regular season tournaments including the Cowgirl Beach Bash (Feb. 28-Mar. 1) and will host UL-Monroe in a home dual match on April 4 for its only home matches this season.  The Cowgirls play all their home matches at South Beach.
 
The Cowgirl Beach Bash field will consist of Nicholls, Mary Hardin-Baylor, New Orleans, and Sam Houston.
 
The Cowgirls will open their season against Texas at the HCU Tournament on Feb. 22.  McNeese is also scheduled to play UTEP and Central Arkansas during its opening weekend.
 
Week three will have the Cowgirls taking part in the Lion's Den Invitational hosted by Southeastern, followed by the Axe 'Em Invitational hosted by Stephen F. Austin in Week 4. 
 
The Southland Conference Mid-Season Tournament will be held in Thibodaux March 21-23 and the following week, Nicholls will host its own Bayou Battle on March 29.
 
McNeese will honor its 2025 seniors in a doubleheader against UL-Monroe on April 4.
 
Following a week off, the Cowgirls will travel to New Orleans to take part in the Tulane NOLA Classic (April 18-19) for its regular season finale.
 
The Southland Conference Championship is scheduled for April 23-25 in New Orleans and will be hosted by UNO.
