Arianna Patton and freshman
Dakota Howard were named to the Briann January Classic All-Tournament Team after helping McNeese women's basketball to a 1-1 record with its win coming against Nevada on Saturday following its loss to undefeated Arizona State on Friday.
Howard averaged 9.5 ppg. and 5.0 rpg. while shooting 42.1 percent from the field and 60.0 percent from the field. Howard scored 12 points in the win over Nevada including 6 of 11 from the field.
Patton averaged 9.0 ppg., 1.5 rpg. and dished out five assists during the tournament. Patton led the Cowgirls with 12 points against Arizona State including three 3-pointers.
