Ana Hollweg has been named this week's Southland Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced today.
Hollweg, a transfer from the University of Indianapolis and a native of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, helped the Cowgirls to a perfect 3-0 record last weekend with wins over Harding University, Missouri State and Central Arkansas.
Individually, Hollweg posted an overall 5-1 record, including a 3-0 doubles record as part of the No. 3 doubles team and a 2-1 singles record at both the No. 2 and No. 3 singles. Her only loss on the week was a three-set loss against Harding University.
