LAKE CHARLES— McNeese softball will travel to Houston on Tuesday, March 25 for a single game beginning at 6 p.m. The game will broadcast on ESPN+.
The Cowgirls will return to conference play this weekend in San Antonio, Texas with a three-game series at Incarnate Word.
McNeese (21-13), who leads the series 15-14 and have won seven of the last eight games against the Cougars, will carry a seven-game winning streak into the game after a Southland Conference series sweep over Nicholls last weekend.
Tuesday's game is the second against Houston this season. The Cowgirls defeated the Cougars 6-2 back on Feb. 21 during the Cowgirl Classic.
Houston (17-11) is coming off a Big 12 home series loss to BYU last weekend. The game will be the final game of a five game homestand for the Cougars that started with a 10-6 win over Lamar on March 18.
