Salome Fluri has been named this week's Southland Conference women's tennis player of the week, the league announced Tuesday.
Fluri led the Cowgirls to a 5-1 record last week with singles wins over Tarleton State, New Mexico State and Southeastern at the No. 1 spot. She also picked up two doubles wins as part of the Cowgirls' No. 1 doubles team with
Stella Rundova. Fluri and Rundova picked up two doubles wins over New Mexico State and Southeastern.
Fluri is 16-2 on the year and has won her last 13 matches with her last loss coming on Feb. 2 against Central Arkansas.
