LAKE CHARLES— Coming off its Southland Conference series win over Incarnate Word over the weekend, McNeese softball returns home to host No. 3 LSU on Tuesday, April 1 in a single game. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond. The game will stream on ESPN+.

It will be Geaux Teal night at the diamond and fans are encouraged to wear teal in support of Ovarian Cancer. Bracelets and stickers will be available while supplies last.Â

Also, AUSL (Athletes Unlimited Softball League) representatives will be on hand to promote their inaugural season. Members of the league will be available for autographs and photos.

McNeese (23-15, 9-3 SLC) has defeated LSU twice in Lake Charles since 2006. The Cowgirls defeated the Tigers (31-4, 6-3) in 2009 and most recently in 2023 by the score of 4-3 in both games.
