LAKE CHARLES – McNeese center fielder Conner Westenburg and pitcher Alexis Gravel have been named to the 2025 All-Southland Conference Baseball Team, the league office released on Wednesday.
 
Westenburg, a senior from Porter, Texas, was named to the first team and also received All-Defensive Team honors while Gravel, a senior starting pitcher from Repentigny, Quebec, Canada, earned second team honors.
 
Westenburg ended the regular season with a .330 batting average and tied for the NCAA lead with nine triples. He also tops the Southland with 26 stolen bases to go along with seven home runs, eight doubles 32 RBIs. During the season, he set a school single-season record with nine outfield assists and by hitting three lead-off home runs.
 
In addition, he leads the nation in defensive runs saved with a rate of 18.61 and is second in the NCAA in outfield runs (12.51) and outfield arms runs (6.1).
 
Gravel posted a 4-2 record and 3.06 ERA in the regular season despite missing the last three weeks due to an injury. He's tied for fourth in the conference with 67 batters struck out, sixth in ERA and seventh in opponent batting average with a .231 average.
