James Landreneau continues to build his 2026 roster with the addition of transfers Maddie Weeks and Rylee Cloud.
Weeks joins the Cowgirl program from Southern Miss while Cloud is an Arkansas transfer. Both players will have one year of eligibility.
Weeks, a utility player from of Clinton, Miss. has spent the last two seasons with the Golden Eagles where she started all 51 games, led the team with seven double and was second on the team with 144 plate appearances this season. Weeks ended her senior season with a .299 batting average, 43 hits, 23 RBI and 15 walks.
Prior to Southern Miss, Weeks began her player career at Co-Lincoln where she led the team to its first National Championship in 2023. While at Co-Lincoln she became the programs career RBI leader, was named to the NFCA NJCAA Division II All-South Region, was named to the MACC All-Conference and the NJCAA All-Region 23 team.
Cloud is an infielder from Mittie, La., has spent the previous three years with the Razorbacks. In 2025, Cloud played in eight games with one start while scoring three runs and walked twice. While at Arkansas, she played in 53 career games, scored 18 runs with four RBI and hit her first collegiate homerun as a sophomore.
As a freshman she appeared in 22 games, collecting two hits, one RBI, scored seven runs along with a .900 fielding percent.
