SB: Cloud Named SLC "Hitter of the Week"

FRISCO, Texas—Senior infielder Rylee Cloud has been named Southland Conference "Hitter of the Week", the league announced Monday.
The native of Mittie, Louisiana, hit .500 last week in six games helping McNeese to a 3-3 overall record including a win over No. 21 Ole Miss.  Cloud was 9 for 18 at the plate with four of her nine hits being extra base hits.  She hit two homeruns, one triple, and one double and also had eight RBI and scored six runs while striking out only once.  In the field, she recorded a .900 fielding percent playing both shortstop and second base.
