NEW ORLEANS – McNeese Cowgirls beach volleyball (12–3, 1-1) is still off to the best start in program history after beginning day two at the Bayou Beach Duals with dropping the first match of the morning 5-0 to host Tulane before picking up the second win over UTEP this season 3-2 to close out the weekend.

Isabella Giarla, clinched the match point against UTEP for the Sandy Pokes for the win.
The Sandy Pokes will travel to Youngsville next weekend to take place in the Southland Conference Midseason Tournament where they will see New Orleans, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, and Houston Christian over the two-day span.
