Cowboys Host Prairie View A&M to Open 10-Game Homestand

LAKE CHARLES – McNeese baseball (9-10, 4-5) returns home Wednesday to take on Prairie View A&M (4-14, 0-3) in a midweek match up that begins a 10-game home stand for the Cowboys. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The Cowboys are coming off a weekend series loss in conference play to Lamar, dropping games two and three. McNeese scored 13 runs on 18 hits across the weekend, including three doubles and one triple. Jake Blackwell picked up his second win of the season in Friday's opener, while Brady Corcoran recorded his second save.

Prairie View A&M enters the match up on a seven-game losing streak dating back to March 6 against Sam Houston. The Panthers were swept in their SWAC opening weekend at Bethune-Cookman, falling to 0-3 in conference play. PVAMU has allowed 71 runs over its last seven games while scoring 20.
