Cowboys Host Southeastern In Weekend Southland Series

LAKE CHARLES – McNeese baseball (10-10, 4-5) returns home Friday to take on Southeastern (12-9, 4-2) in a weekend conference series. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The Cowboys are coming off a midweek win over Prairie View A&M, earning a 16-1 run-rule victory in seven innings. DJ Pinkerton and Isaiah Keller each hit the first home runs of their Division I careers in the win. McNeese recorded two doubles, one triple, and three home runs in the contest.

Southeastern enters the weekend following a top 10 victory over No. 8 Oklahoma on Tuesday night. The Lions' pitching staff combined for a shutout in a 3-0 win, marking the program's first victory over a ranked opponent since the 2024 season.
