FRISCO, Texas—  McNeese swept this week's Southland Conference Softball players of the week honors with Alexis Dibbley being named Hitter of the Week and Brookelyn Taylor named Pitcher of the Week.

Dibbley, a junior from Moss Bluff, La. had an outstanding week at the plate with a .750 batting average and a 2.250 slugging percent last week in four games.  She was six for eight at the plate with all six hits being extra base hits including three homeruns and three doubles.  She also knocked in six runs, scored seven runs and walked three times.

Taylor, a freshman from Liberty, Texas went 2-0 on the week with both wins coming against Lamar in the SLC opening series.  Taylor posted a 0.58 ERA in 12.0 innings, allowing seven hits, three runs (one earned run) and struck out 13 including eight against Lamar in her first career SLC game.
   
The honor for Taylor is her second this season, she was also named Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 23.
