LAKE CHARLES – McNeese baseball (19-17, 9-9) will close out its four-game home stand Tuesday as Grambling (11-23, 8-7) comes to town for a midweek match up. The meeting marks the second time in a week the two teams will face off.
First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The Cowboys are coming off a conference series victory over Incarnate Word, taking two of three games.
Jaden Bahl picked up his first Division I win in game two, while
Jake Blackwell remained perfect on the season, improving to 4-0 with a win in game three.
Grambling enters the week following a series loss at home to Southern. The Tigers scored 22 runs over the weekend against the Jaguars, with game three going to extra innings.
McNeese defeated Grambling 4-1 last week behind two sacrifice flies and a bases-clearing single from
Hayden Stringfellow.
Brady Corcoran earned his first career win in the game, moving to 1-1 on the season.
