LAKE CHARLES—  McNeese softball will travel to College Station, Texas Wednesday to face No. 13/14 Texas A&M in a single game beginning at 6 p.m.  The game will stream on SECN+. 
 
The game is the first of four straight road games for the Cowgirls this week.  McNeese will return to Southland action this weekend at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for a three-game series beginning on Friday.
 
McNeese (23-16) will look to get back into the win column after being swept by Southeastern last week while the Aggies (26-12) are coming off a SEC series win over then No. 11 Georgia over the weekend.
 
Nyjah Fontenot continues to lead the Cowgirls with a .371 batting average, 46 hits, 36 runs scored and is second on the team with 31 RBI.  Maddie Taylor leads the pitching staff with a 7-4 record while Brookelyn Taylor leads the staff with a 3.56 ERA.
 
The Aggies have three players hitting over .400 and is led by Mya Perez's .449 average.  Kennedy Powell (.433), and Ariel Kowalewski (.400) are also hitting over .400.  Micaela Wark leads the team with 16 homeruns and Perez is second with 13.
