LAFAYETTE, La. – The McNeese women's tennis team is set to travel to Lafayette this weekend to take part in the Ragin Cajun Women's Fall Classic, beginning on Friday at Cajun Courts.
The tournament, set for Oct. 3-4, will feature 10 teams from across the Southern region with action set to begin each day at 8:30 a.m.
Junior
Klaudia Gawlik will make her fall debut when she competes in the No. 1 Flight in singles while sophomore
Julia Kral looks to improve upon her record in the No. 2 Flight.
Sophomore
Vivien Borbely will compete in Flight 3 with freshmen
Hannah Brett and
Anastasija Trubich playing the No. 5 and No. 6 positions.
Senior
Andreea Nenu rounds out the singles action, as she will compete in the No. 6 spot.
All six competitors will also take part in all three flights of doubles play beginning on Friday.
The tournament will feature teams from Lamar, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana Tech, LSU-Alexandria, New Orleans, Nicholls, Northwestern State, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Miss and ULM.
