LAKE CHARLES – Following a week off for rest and recuperation, the McNeese women's tennis returns to Southland Conference action Tuesday in a mid-week tilt at Nicholls. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.
McNeese (8-4, 1-0 SLC) rides a three-match win streak into Tuesday's match and has notches victories in four of its last five contests. However, the Cowgirls are looking to get over the hump of road life, having won only one of four away matches so far this season.
The Pokes are at the top of one of the most intriguing stat charts in the Southland Conference. Just two months in, McNeese players have combined for a 50-20 dual singles record. The mark ranks first among all league teams with Abilene Christian and Sam Houston State coming in second with 35.
