LAKE CHARLES – The McNeese women's tennis team will return home for a Sunday doubleheader beginning at 10 a.m. with an exhibition contest against junior college power Tyler Junior College followed by a 2 p.m. match with Prairie View A&M at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.
The Cowgirls (4-3) dropped Friday's match to ULM, 4-3, playing without one of their top singles players
Giovanna Fioretti, who was out due to an illness. McNeese has only played one match at home this season.

Klaudia Gawlik scored her 56
th career singles victory against the Warhawks Friday afternoon and now stands third in all-time wins. Gawlik needs only thee more singles wins to tie for second on the career singles wins list.
Tyler Junior College (0-1) brings a rich history of success and tradition into Sunday's exhibition match against the Cowgirls. The Apaches are currently ranked No. 2 in the ITA Junior/Community Colleges National Rankings and are also ranked first in the ITA Region II polls. TJC has captured 14 national championships since 1989, including four-straight from 2010 through 2013.
Competing for the Apaches is the No. 2 ranked player in the nation Gabrielle Andrews while teammates Elizabeth Bagerbaseh (No. 10), Tereza Klocova (No. 12), Michelle Walker (No. 41) and Autria Compton (No. 48) are also ranked nationally.
Prairie View A&M (1-5) has faced tough competition this season but managed to defeat LSU-Alexandria in a 5-2 decision for its first win of the season. The Panthers sport two juniors while the other seven on the roster consist of freshmen and sophomores.
McNeese will continue its home stand Tuesday, Feb. 9 with a mid-week contest against Louisiana Tech. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
