LOUISVILLE, Ky.- McNeese senior outfielder Justyce McClain has been named to the 2019 NFCA Division I Softball All-Region team, the organization announced Thursday.
 
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member coaches from each respective region voted on the teams, and all the honorees now become eligible for the 2019 NFCA Division I All-America squads. All-America teams will be announced on Wednesday, May 29.
 
McClain, a native of Phoenix, Arizona was named to the South Region first team for the third straight year. She leads the team with a .405 average and ranks third in the nation with 81 hits. McClain also leads the Cowgirls with 39 runs and is second on the squad with 30 stolen bases and 16 walks.
