LAKE CHARLES – The McNeese Cowboys baseball team will host a watch party 16 years in the making at 11 a.m. Monday as the Cowboys learn where they will head for the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament regionals.
The team will gather at Walk-Ons, located at. 5313 Common St. in Lake Charles to watch the NCAA Regionals selection show on ESPNU.
The Cowboys clinched their first automatic NCAA Regional bid since 2003 with a 4-2 victory against Central Arkansas in Saturday night's Southland Conference Tournament championship game.
The 16 regional host sites will be announced at 7:30 p.m. Sunday on www.NCAA.com/CWS, on Twitter (@NCAACWS) and on www.facebook.com/NCAACWS.
