LAKE CHARLES-- McNeese softball would like to invite fans to its annual Meet and Greet event Thursday, Sept. 19 that will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Joe Miller Field.
 
Fans will have an opportunity to meet and interact with the 10 newcomers along with the returnees they have supported in previous seasons.
 
The event will begin with a personal tour led by a member of the team which will include an inside look of the Cowgirl facilities (Hodges Fieldhouse, locker room, the HIT, and the PEN).
 
The tour will conclude with a reception on the field with refreshments and a light meal provided by the Dugout Club. Information about the Dugout Club will be available for fans who are interested in joining the softball booster club.
 
The Cowgirls will conduct their first official fall practice Sept. 23 in preparation for their upcoming fall season.
