James Landreneau announced the addition of Mt. San Antonio College (California) catcher
Adriana Ramirez to the 2020 roster.
"It's exciting to be able to add a great athlete and person to our roster," said head coach
James Landreneau. "Adriana is a physical player with a high softball IQ. She played for a great junior college in California, and while having a stellar career, she truly understands what it takes to be successful and win. She will add instant depth at our catcher position as well as our offensive lineup."
The native of Alhambra, California helped Mt. Sac to back-to-back CCCAA State titles (2018, 2019) for the first time in program history.
In 2019, Ramirez batted .303 with a .364 on base percent and a .546 slugging percent. She ended the season with 36 hits, 39 RBI, seven home runs, and 21 runs scored.
In her first season at Mt. SAC (2018), she picked up 22 hits with one homerun 16 RBI along with a .289 batting average and a .408 slugging percent for the Mounties.
