LAKE CHARLES – McNeese softball will conclude their fall season with its annual Blue/Gold scrimmage this week at Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond. The teams will compete for the Blue-Gold Pride Trophy over the course of three seven-inning games.
The first game will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. followed by a second game Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 6:30. The series will conclude with the third and final game on Friday Nov. 19 at 5 p.m.
Batting practice will begin an hour and a half before game time. This will be fans' final look at live action this Fall. The 2022 spring season is set to begin February 11 with the Cowgirl Classic, the first of two tournaments hosted by McNeese.
The Dugout Club will hold a meeting this Thursday, Nov. 18 at 6:30. The meeting will be held at BeauxDines' on Ryan Street. Head coach James Landreneau and a few Cowgirls will be present to speak.
