KANSAS CITY – For the second time in school history, the McNeese Cowgirl placed two in fellow first-team all-conference selections
Keely Morrow and
Rachel Young on the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region teams, announced by the organization Monday.

Rachel Young, the other member of the Southland Conference to garner all-region honors are UIW's Isabella Beletic who landed on the third team.
Morrow, the lone second-team honoree after starting every match for a Cowgirl defense that ranked second in shutouts (six) and goals-against average (0.75) in league play. She also tied for fourth with four assists against Southland foes and was tied for first overall with five.
A third-team all-region honoree, Young led the team and ranked second in goals (seven) and points (16) in conference competition. She registered a pair of two-goal outings on the year against HBU and Nicholls, scoring the game-winner in both.
Morrow and Young are the first Cowgirls to garner All-Midwest Region selections since 2017 (Savannah LaRicci - 2nd Team, Gabi D' Alesandro - 3rd Team).
