WGolf: Cowgirls Open Play At SLC Tournament Monday

EL DORADO, Ark.—McNeese women's golf team will conclude its season this week when the Cowgirls take part in the 2021 Southland Conference Women's Tournament which is set to begin Monday, April 19 and will run through Wednesday, April 21 at the Mystic Creek Golf Club.
 
The Cowgirls enter the tournament as the No. 6 seed according to the Golfstat national ranking. Sam Houston State is the tournament's top seed and is ranked 53rd in the national ranking. Central Arkansas is the No. 2 seed followed by UIW, Houston Baptist, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, McNeese, Lamar, and Stephen F. Austin.
 
All rounds will have an 8 a.m. tee time. The first Cowgirl player will tee off at 8:45 a.m. Live stats will be provided by Golfstats.
 
Making up the Cowgirls team will be Riley Isaac, Carolina Rotzinger, Maria Garcia, Anika Hovda, and Amy Ng.
 
Isaac enters the tournament with a 75.33 scoring average with one Top 10 finish, Rotzinger has a 76.89 average and also has one Top 10 finish this season. Garcia has a 78.89 average, Hovda has a 79.00 average, and Ng has an 81.17 scoring average.
